Wat ben ik blij met al die nominaties voor La Cage Aux Folles. Deze productie heb ik helaas niet in New York gezien, maar wel een aantal keer in Londen en wat was dat een geweldige voorstelling zeg!

Voor A Little Night Music had ik er toch wel wat meer verwacht. En Catherina was zeer goed qua spel, maar bij Hannah Waddingham was het totaalpakket toch sterker. Ik weet niet wat de kwaliteiten van de rest van de dames in deze categorie zijn, maar een Tony voor Catherina is toch iets te veel van het goede denk ik.

Ik vind dit niet zo’n interessant jaar voor de Tony Awards. Er zitten maar weinig producties en namen bij die ik ken.
