‘The Phantom Of The Opera’ is vanaf oktober 2016 voor het eerst in Parijs te zien in het Théà¢tre Mogador

In collaboration with Stage Entertainment, The Phantom of the Opera is going home. The popular Andrew Lloyd Webber production is to open at the Mogador Theatre in Paris from October 2016.

Following on from the successful season of Cats at the Mogador Theatre, The Phantom of the Opera, one of the biggest musicals of all time, is set to be another smash hit.

The Paris production will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the show and will be the first time it plays in France and in French.

The show has delighted audiences in over 150 cities, 30 countries and has been adapted in 13 languages for over 140 million viewers worldwide.

The Phantom of the Opera was inspired by the famous novel by Gaston Leroux published in 1910 — one of the major novels of the French classical literature.

Stage Entertainment said “The Mogador theater, so close to the Opera Garnier, is the ideal place in which to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the musical. We could not imagine a more appropriate framework for our Phantom than the homeland of Gaston Leroux.”

En vanaf september 2016 in Stockholm met Peter Jöback in de titelrol en Emmi Christensson als Christine (momenteel nog alternate op West End) en Anton Zetterholm als Raoul

Was ook mijn eerste reactie toen ik dit bericht las.

Is the phantom al niet eerder in stockholm geweest?

Ja in 1989 en was na Londen en Wenen één van de eerste Europese producties.

Nice! Heb het idee dat ze in School of Rock ook niet helemaal op haar plek is. Spreekt ze al Frans of gaat ze dat speciaal leren?

Weet iemand of er al speeldagen bekend zijn van Sierra Bogges? Of waar ik deze in de toekomst kan vinden?

Dat hoop ik ook dat het daarna in het Circustheater komt 😊

^ Alsjeblieft niet. Pas als ze in het CT weer wat neerzetten wat ik CT-waardig vind, dwz; mooie decors, een goed gevulde orkestbak, en kwalitatieve kostuums etc, en een volledige ban op snoepzakken, schmink en andere rariteiten, mag het terugkomen van mij. Anders vind ik het zonde van het product.
