Jasper Taconis in dinnershow op Aruba

Jasper Taconis zal vanaf 30 juli te zien zijn in de internationale Dinnershow D’LICIOUS, op Aruba.

Met zijn bedrijf 2-Entertain maakt Toine van de Donk dromen de internationale Dinnershow D’LICIOUS. Op 30 juli 2010 gaat D’LICIOUS in première op het tropische Aruba. Voor deze show heeft 2-Entertain musicaltalent Jasper Taconis aangetrokken, onder meer bekend van de musical CHICAGO en eerder genomineerd voor beste mannelijke hoofdrol in Five Guys Named Moe. De repetities voor D’LICIOUS zijn inmiddels in volle gang.

Begin dit jaar is de productie van D’LICIOUS van start gegaan. Een cast van vijftien zeer getalenteerde zangers en dansers vliegt op 15 juli aanstaande naar Aruba om een spectaculaire show neer te zetten. Ook Jasper Taconis vervult een belangrijke rol, waarmee hij iets bijzonders toevoegt aan deze internationale show. Choreograaf Roy Julen, onder andere bekend van ‘So you think you can dance’ is verantwoordelijk voor de showcoördinatie.

In de chique locatie Zissles in het hart van het Arubaanse uitgaansleven zal D’LICIOUS deze zomer van start gaan; een ruim twee uur durende voorstelling met muziek- en dans en licht- en audiovisuele effecten. De sfeer van het vroegere Moulin Rouge wordt gecombineerd met die van internationale popconcerten om een bijzondere voorstelling te realiseren. Muzikale klassiekers, hedendaagse hits en de nodige dosis humor wisselen elkaar af en brengen voor ieder wat wils. Het thema van de show is ‘Live your dream’,

D’LICIOUS zal van 30 juli 2010 tot en met 15 januari 2011, zes dagen per week in Zissles te zien zijn en wordt in december afgewisseld met een speciale Kerstshow. Vanaf 15 januari 2011 wordt D’LICIOUS opgevolgd door een compleet nieuwe show, inclusief nieuwe cast, wederom uit Nederland.

The complete cast of the highly-anticipated dinner show, D’Licious, will be arriving at Aruba’s Queen Beatrix International Airport on the Martinair flight on Thursday, July 15th, 2010. Some 15 international cast members and their creative team, including hair and make-up artists, choreographers, show director, musical director, and stylists will be arriving on the island in preparation for the opening of D’Licious that will take place at the island’s premier dinner show venue, Zissles, at Paseo Herencia in Palm Beach.

Among the cast members arriving are Jasper Taconis and Gitty Pregers, well known in Europe for their roles in the musicals Chicago and The Lion King, who will be joined onstage by a group of extremely talented singers and dancers.

Production of D’Licious took flight earlier this year, with auditions to secure a veteran cast of singers and dancers from all over Europe. The chosen few who made the cut begin work immediately the day after their arrival on the island, rehearsing July 16th through July 28th with the creative team, including Roy Julen, head choreographer of So you Think you can Dance in the Netherlands.

D’Licious, the debut production at Zissles, tells the story of hopes and dreams–from wanting to be a superstar and walk the red carpet, to the fantasy of being a secret agent. Audiences will be able to relate to the overall theme told throughout the show–that life is simply too short not to follow your heart and chase your dreams.

The enigmatic and vibrant production will feature well-known hits and classics from different musical eras that have been uniquely arranged for the show, as well as an original opening song aptly called D’Licious. Sizzling costumes–with an emphasis on the sexy burlesque theme–combined with dramatic lighting and magical graphics will deliver a night of dynamic entertainment unmatched anywhere on the island.

The first show can be seen on Friday the 30th of July, and will run six nights a week (Sunday through Friday). Tickets are available at http://www.zissles.com.

Zie ik daar zomaar mijn danslerares tussenstaan! Ik wist wel dat ze op Aruba in een dansshow ging staan, maar niet dat dit het was. Ziet er tof uit 😉

Zoo ziet er erg goed uit. Jammer dat het op Aruba is. Ik zou best wel naar deze show willen kijken. Waw gitty, jasper goede combinatie. Bedn benieuwd naar de recencies. Gaat er wellicht iemand die kant op om de show te zien???
