No Day But Today! Anthony Rapp to play London shows

The Daily Mail’s Baz Bamigboye has announced that Broadway star Anthony Rapp is coming to London!

Rapp will reportedly play shows at the St James Studio between 5th and 17th December 2016 (further details are to be confirmed).

The actor previously performed his show Without You at London’s Menier Chocolate Factory in 2012.

Rapp originated the role of Mark Cohen in the off-Broadway, Broadway and West End productions of RENT, later reprising his performance in the musical’s U.S. tour. He most recently reunited with his RENT co-star Idina Menzel in new musical If/Then on Broadway, before reprising his performance for the musical’s U.S. tour.

Het is wel een apart verhaal, zelfs geretweet door Rapp zelf, terwijl hij in dezelfde periode ook solo live staat in hetzelfde theater op nagenoeg dezelfde tijden…..

Het klopt wel. Beide voorstellingen zijn na elkaar te zien.

hmmm, bedoel je dat hij na de periode van zijn solo optredens gaat meedoen in Rent? Want dit haal ik van de website van het st james. in genoemde periode speelt hij op dezelfde tijden solo in de kleine zaal van het st james..

Ik denk dat ik er al achter ben waar de verwarring vandaan komt. Dit artikel zegt dat hij een aantal shows geeft in deze periode, wat ook zo is.

Een andere musicalsite heeft het bericht denk ik verkeerd geinterpreteerd, want die beweren dat hij meedoet in Rent in deze periode, wat dus tijdtechnisch niet kan…..
